Femme Fatale is universally recognizable. This is not a look that can go anywhere, but when it finds the proper place to show-up, it will turn heads. Femme Fatale is all about severe lines that are unsympathetic to the weak at heart. To get this look it is imperative that you begin with as flawless a foundation as possible – blemishes or discolorations will quickly take this from sexy to clownish. It goes without saying that you’ve got to have red lips – bright, shiny red lips. And red nails in the same shade. The cheeks really make this look. Your blush has to be rosy plum and you’ve got to wear a lot, heaviest under the cheek bones, lightening up toward the apples of your cheeks and the ears. Eyes use lots of pale shades of brown, beige, opal and rose. The colors are light, but you apply enough to make it dark. Black liner frames the entire eye and pulls out into wide cat-eyes.
The “Bad Girl” gets to have the most fun with color. The key is to keep the bright focus on the eyes and create a shocking contrast that emphasizes the don’t-mess-with-me-unless-you’re-invited look with ultra pale lipstick that is just a hint brighter than your lips. For eyes, use sea foam green, brick, teal and cobalt blues. Cover your lids with the shade that works best for you and accent with the others. Use matte black shadow to heavily line the entire eye. Sweep pale pink blush if any at all along the cheek bones. Nails need to have an edge too; choose a shimmering steel gray polish.
Counter her with the soft, sweet face of the “Good Girl.” To create an overall glow, use a light luminizing tinted lotion as your base – be sure to cover your eyelids as well. To that add a duo of brown shadows, the darkest shade along the lids and the lighter in the crease. Black mascara and cherry lip gloss finish this simple yet stunning look. The bronzed glow from the moisturizer is the real appeal of this look, so be diligent until you find the perfect shade.
The Sex Kitten strategically uses the least amount of color to create a look from shadows and contours. Black eye liner and false lashes outline cream eye shadow in soft pink that covers from lids to brow bones. Cheeks and lips are both highlighted in a shade of brown/plum that is just barely there. These muted shades contour your face for a satin-soft yet commanding look.
