Male Fitness & Your Sex Life

Male Fitness & Your Sex LifeThe idea that exercise can improve your sex life for the better may sound pretty simple but surprisingly, many men don’t actually follow through on this concept. Instead of turning to pills or other miracle products that are supposed to boost your sex life, why not turn to exercise? It’s not only easier and safer than dealing with possible side effects - it’s also good for you.

One of the most obvious ways that regular exercise can improve your sex life is that it builds stamina and endurance, but that’s not the only benefit. Introducing exercise into your weekly routine can also help improve your flexibility and even your sexual technique. Before you go out and start doing a ton of different exercises, it’s helpful to note that certain exercises are especially beneficial for your sex life. Doing a combination of these particular exercises 3-4 times a week can add a new take on your sex life that you and your partner will undoubtedly enjoy.

Brisk walking is one of the exercises that are great for giving your sex life a boost. Why? Doing brisk walking has been found to be super effective against erectile dysfunction. This type of aerobic exercise allows your blood vessels to remain clear, which means longer and stronger erections. Additionally, the walking also burns around 200 calories a day and releases endorphins, which gives off a feeling of relaxation, which can also help with your sexual performance. So start taking walks around your neighborhood a few times a week.

Kegel exercises aren’t just for women anymore. If you aren’t familiar with what Kegels are, this form of exercise is good for strengthening the muscles of your pelvic floor. In men, doing Kegels allow them to better control the muscles that stop the flow of urine. This can lead to better endurance and control, which can delay an early release during sex, making for longer love making. To perform Kegels simply squeeze your pelvic muscles (you’ll feel the same sensation as if you were holding in your urine). Hold your muscles this way for about 10 seconds and then relax the muscles. Repeat often and over time you’ll definitely notice a difference in your love making.

Want to be more flexible and try new sexual positions? Then taking up yoga will allow you to reach those goals. Certain yoga poses are ideal for improving flexibility and strengthening your pelvic muscles. Sign up for a weekly yoga class and soon you’ll be able to apply your newly learned skills in the bedroom.

Good ole weight lifting can also work wonders for your sex life. The very act of lifting weights causes a rush of testosterone in men, which can lead to a strong sex drive. Doing other muscle building exercises like push ups, crunches, and sit ups also lead to stronger upper body strength, which improves your stamina, resulting in better, longer lasting sex.
