From all indications there is no slowing the celebrity fragrance train. The latest name to toss her name into the crowded ring is rapper and actress Queen Latifah. Since her days as a rapper Latifah has carved out a successful career as a film producer and actress, even gaining an Academy Award nomination.

Her scent is called, not surprisingly, Queen by Queen Latifah. It is the result of a collaboration with celebrity fragrance favorite Parlux. It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The scent can also be purchased as part of a package that includes lotion and body butter.

Queen Latifah said tried as many as 50 samples before settling on this scent according to reports. Latifah has been busy doing the promotional rounds to ensure that her first fragrance will be a success.
