Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is certainly no stranger to the world of celebrity fragrances. Her scents are among the top selling celeb aligned scents in the world. For her latest offering SJP NYC, she turned to very familiar territory for inspiration, her character Carrie Bradshaw.

Online reports quote the actress as saying, “A large part of the inspiration is what I now understand to be people`s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street and what feelings that evokes for her and for them…” The new perfume range includes body lotion and Eau de Toilette which comes in three sizes.

Naturally, Coty Prestige, the company behind the scent will seek to capitalize n the release of Sex and the City 2. The movie is expected to hit theaters on May 28, 2010.
