Warhol’s Fragrance Legacy

Updated Oct 10, 2009

Late pop artist Andy Warhol continues to have an impact on the world of beauty. The latest example is a line of fragrances, two of which bear his name. The range was produced by fragrance house Bond No. 9 and they are called Union Square, Silver Factory, Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue and Andy Warhol Success is a Job in New York, which was the latest to be released.

According to reports, Bond No. 9 founder Laurice Rahme says the latest scent can be worn by both men and women. She described the scent as “…very fresh, and like Andy Warhol`s work in that it never ages.” Warhol was reportedly so enamored with fragrances he would often pilfer the ones he liked from homes he visited.
